I asked for some feedback from my teacher and his opinion was my poster looks more like a flyer to a rave. I do agree with this but I feel there are some slight conventions of a magazine advert. I was advised to start again and use different images. The only reason why I used this image is because it is the same image I used for my digipac front cover and I was advised to show continuity. So I used the same image, and have been editing it for a while for my digipac.
So following the advice given I began researching into conventions of a magazine advert little bit more for some desperate inspiration. I found images of the balloons and remembered that me and my group were going to use balloons in our music video because we thought 'Feist represented balloons' (happy atmosphere) So I manipulated this image of the balloons and then used typography but I was not pleased with it. It seemed like it was targeting children. Also the time was short so I thought I would just adapt and change all the small problems on my first poster of Yasmin in the air with the tree's behind her.
Here is the poster I tried to make with the balloon image I did not think it was so good as the other one that I had took time on editing and really focusing on it. So I felt more pleased with handing in the other poster than this new balloon one I do not think it would of targeted as well compared to the other poster.
