Friday Class Music Video Practice

On friday as a class we chose job roles for the music video class practice. We had instruments from given to us by the music department and a drama room where we could film and perform.

I took the role of being director so I was observing how everything was looking in camera focus and how the performers were set up and how they acted and what looked good on the cameras and the direction of the lighting.

After all the different shots were filmed then the camera operators Tom and Sven uploaded the footage. Next lesson at Coleridge we will then all edit.

Here I am directing Tom with the positioning of the camera.

I never really have took the role of directing in media yet so far, so this helped me to see the basics of directing. It was interesting and I liked the job role, I think it was different and exciting.
