Here is my magazine advert:

I used this for the background where the CD will be placed. I edited it to make it look old fashioned ad brushed over the real pattern with a light brown.

This is a picture of the artist which I used for the digipack just so I could relate it to a theme, I used the paint tool and brushed over her face in a grey cream colour which gave it the ghostly effect.

I thought I would use Pegasus the original image is the grey and black shimmered image. I then change the colour of the image and played around with different mixed colour. But accidently I made this type of glittery colour which made it look magical. It was intended to however it looks effective. I was going to go for the a golden colour because the songs name but I thought this stands out.

Digi Packs

What is a digiPack? Digipacks are a type of CD packaging made out of card stock or other heavy paper/cardboard material. Digipacks can flip open like a book, or it can have three parts, so that one portion of the packaging opens to the right and one to the left, with the CD in the center portion. Usually, the portion of the digipack that hold the CD is made of plastic like a traditional jewel case CD - the plastic part is simply attached to the paper background.

The task was to create a digipack on photo shop for a practice task at designing digi packs.

I was given a track 'silence is golden' by beautiful garbage of music that I had to find information about then design the digi pack in the same genre and style of music the band is.I need to add the track list onto the back of the digipack then I have completed it. Also we were asked to create a Magazine advert for the band as well which I have started in photoshop.

This was the template that we were given to use our digi packs.
