Tuesday Morning Task: Previous Student Video's

This music video has only one performer who is lip syncing but not in position. Also he uses a ape costume through out the footage.

Which I think becomes boring to the viewer and maybe it could have been improved if there was more costumes introduced. However the locations used

are varied so this is effective and keep you entertained. The music soundtrack is not my type of genre so this maybe be interfering.

Best female Vocal

I like this music video because the camera work is slow paced and the visuals are interesting.

Also it look convincing that she is singing so I nominated her as best female vocalist.

I like the chosen background and the lighting used.

The editing was effective and it was consistent throughout. Which gave it individual character. She is very good at lip syncing.

Editing and Camera work

This music video really grabbed my attention, I was impressed by the editing and how they have used different shots and edited it all into one.

They have used a church as their location which I thought gave the video and the music a feeling of "old".

Also the matched the footage of the musical instruments to the beat of the sound track in fast pace. The camera shots used work effectively

and they use a lot of close ups. The lighting was really good and gave the feeling of groovy. Also I enjoyed the use of colour.

Most innovative concept

This music video had some kind of concept to it however it fully did not demonstrate the meaning. Also the costume used worked really well for the music lyrics and used props of a bouncy ball. But her lip syncing demonstration was not as strong as the other music video falling like stars.
Best band performance

This band gave the best band performance however I think that the music video in itself and the visuals were not as entertaining

Best male vocal

Out of the six music videos I have watched I have nominated this one to be best male vocal singer because he as the singer makes the music video really work. The character really takes control of their acting role an clearly expresses their aim.
