Jasmines Presentation

Here are my notes that I took from Jasmines Presentation.

When Jasmine was studying Media for her music project her and five other girls and they wer

e inspired by Ricky Martin. They focused on makeup, cos

tume importantly. They filmed the music video as one day shoot in different locations that they came across.

Then entered the music video in to competition BBC Blast and won for best music video. She met the producer of RSA Films.

Roles: Jasmine was director of 'Wombats lets Dance To Joy Division' which she was responsible for feeding creative ideas, along side of her there was the director assistant which takes responsibility for shooting schedules and keeping the director in line. Also the creative director.

Treatment: She had to create a paper version of the music video this is called the treatment, it has to be illustrated with precise detail, and to include images of nearly the exact props she is considering to use. It is used to pitch for a music video.

Also she used spider diagrams to shows her ideas and to illustrate them more visually.

1. Contact with team to discuss

2. To know your jobs

3. Updating documents/ date everything

4. Speed and decisions

5. Use people in the group, other actors could appear unreliable.
